We’re The Protein Ball Co. — and since 2015, we’ve been hand-rolling delicious, natural, high-protein snacks in our UK factory, making it easier (and tastier) to eat well on the go.
Here’s a little look behind the scenes — where we started, why we care, and what we stand for.
🚀 How It All Began
It all started with a problem: most “healthy” snacks weren’t actually healthy at all. We couldn’t find anything natural, satisfying and high in protein that didn’t come in the form of a chalky bar or a sugar-laden shake.
So we decided to make our own.
In 2015, we rolled our first ball by hand — a bite-sized blend of simple, honest ingredients with a solid protein punch. Word spread, and before we knew it, people were swapping their snacks and stocking up.

We’re passionate about three things:

Keeping things real – Every Protein Ball is made with 100% natural ingredients. No added sugar, no artificial preservatives, and nothing you can’t pronounce.

Everything we make is hand-rolled in small batches at our HQ in West Sussex — and always taste-tested by us (and sometimes our dogs 🐾).
💪 Built on Protein
Protein helps you stay energised, fuller for longer and supports everything from muscle repair to immune health. According to the NHS, adults should aim for around 0.75g of protein per kilogram of body weight per day.
We make that easier — and tastier — by using high-quality protein in every ball. From whey protein and egg white to plant-based powerhouses like almonds and seeds, we make sure you’re getting the good stuff in every bite.
🐶 Then Came… It’s The Dog’s
When we realised our own dogs were drooling over our snacks, we thought — why not give them something just as good?
Enter It’s The Dog’s — our vet-approved, peanut butter protein balls for dogs. Made in the same factory, with the same commitment to all-natural ingredients and gut-friendly benefits. Because our pets deserve real food too.

Today, we’re stocked in over 20 countries and still rolling every batch with the same care and passion we had on day one. We’re proud to be a small business doing things differently — with a focus on quality, transparency, and a whole lot of flavour.
