Halloween doesnât always have to be about sugary sweets! With our Protein Balls, you can enjoy a healthy snack that still brings the Halloween spirit to life. By using satsuma peels to create mini pumpkin holders, youâre adding a festive touch thatâs both cute and delicious. The bright orange peel makes the perfect stand-in for a pumpkin, giving your Protein Balls a fun, spooky home. Itâs a treat for the eyes and the taste buds!
Method:
1. Grab some Satsumas, and draw on your designs with a ball point pen. Once ready, use a scalpel or sharp tipped knife to carve into the Satsuma skin.
2. Next, carve a circle at the top, and scoop out the satsuma inside (save to eat later!)
3. Once the inside has been completely scooped out, you can either leave for a couple of days to dry out naturally, or, if you're in a rush, pop in the oven on a low heat for an hour, checking every 20 minutes.
4. Once dry, stack with your favourite flavour protein balls!
