The new year often brings lots of new year’s resolutions that just aren’t realistic or achievable. We know that it can be hard to stick to going to the gym 5 times a week when you’ve never gone more than once a week in your life! And we know that cutting out your favourite food is just near on impossible! That’s why we are big fans of more realistic and environmentally friendly new year’s resolutions, such as Veganuary.
Veganuary is a charity that inspires people to try following a vegan diet for January, and then possibly throughout the rest of the year. The idea behind it is to encourage people to eat less meat and animal products to help the environment and also to help them become more educated in vegan food.
We believe that there is still not a complete understanding of what a vegan diet is and how it can be beneficial for your body (and not just the environment!). Particularly there is a lack of knowledge in how to consume good levels of protein whilst following a vegan diet. Of course being experts in the world of protein, we thought we would share with you some of our top tips!
