National Walking Month

May is National Walking Month, and here at The Protein Ball Co we are into healthy living. So we’ve come up with a few of our favourite walks around West Sussex in our neck of the woods for you to visit. For more info on these walks just click on the links below.

1)   Chanctonbury Ring

This walk has a beautiful pathway showing stunning woodland scenes followed by spectacular views from the top of the ancient hill fort of Chanctonbury Ring covering as far as the eye can see. But beware, at night this hill is supposed to be haunted!

2)   Bluebell Wood

For a less challenging walk try the Bluebell woods. It kind of says it all in the name, but this walk is famed for its bluebells that create an amazing carpet of purple in their flowering season, which just so happens to coincide with National Walking Month!

3)   Arundel

The historic town centre, cathedral and castle really make this walk what it is. But for those wishing to get out of the village there is also a fantastic walk along the river Adur with a rowing boat lake for anyone who fancies it!

4)   Whiteways

This is our favourite picnicking spot in Sussex, the reason being is that there is so much going on, from the Bikers meeting up at the café to the fantastic family friendly picnicking area, this one is definitely worth a go for the young families out there, just don’t forget to pack your protein balls!
